My approach

Changing patterns in relationships can be very hard. Together, we can work towards understanding and shifting obstacles to intimacy and more satisfying communication. My approach is reflective, curious and collaborative, aiming to understand and relieve anxiety and pain around life issues. I offer both time-limited and long-term therapy to couples and individuals and have a keen interest in working with neurodivergence in the couple and family.

Background

I worked for many years in drama, making theatre and television. My interest in dramatherapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy stems from my interest in stories, particularly those we tell about ourselves, our worlds, and our relationships.

Qualifications

I am an experienced psychotherapist with an MA in movement and drama therapy from RCSSD. I have worked for many years with adults and teenagers who are at risk, and their carers or parents, as well as in a forensic psychiatric unit. I also have a foundation training in systemic family and couple therapy.

I  am currently  an advanced post-graduate trainee at the Tavistock Relationships Clinic, working with couples and individuals, towards qualification on the psychodynamic couple and individual psychodynamic psychotherapy MA/PG Dip.

Fees

I am offering spaces to couples and individuals seeking psychotherapy at a lower fee while I complete my training.
