About me

I help people give attention to whatever is most important, troubling, or painful in their lives. My experience is that when we can really look at what is on our minds or hurting, then change can start. It can help to talk with a perceptive, supportive listener who doesn't judge us and who is separate from the rest of our lives - and that's what I offer.

In sessions, we have confidential conversations about whatever you feel needs attention, at your pace. I am a responsive, sensitive and caring psychotherapist with years of training and of experience working with a diverse group of people.

Previously, I worked in the media and for charities and at university, I studied politics, philosophy and economics. Originally I’m from Birmingham and now I live in London.

Qualifications & experience

I trained as a psychotherapist at Metanoia Institute in London, and qualified in 2020.

My qualifications are a Master's degree in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy and Applications from Middlesex University and a diploma in person-centred psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute.

Since qualifying in 2020, I have worked with private clients. I'm also a volunteer therapist at the Reduced Fee Service at Number 42, a psychotherapy practice near London Bridge.

During my psychotherapy training, I spent more than six years working with (adult) clients at organisations including Metanoia Institute's low-cost clinic, Kids Company, Bromley Community Counselling Service and Number 42's RFS.
