Counsellor and Psychotherapist
I have been working therapeutically with both individuals and groups in various settings since 1992. Having initially qualified in Rogerian Person Centred Counselling, I have also trained in various other humanistic psychologies before my more recent training in Group Analysis (2008-2011). I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I also hold a Diploma in Integrative Supervision.
In addition to working with clients in private practice, my professional experience ranges from managing teams in addiction settings to facilitating personal growth retreats. My special interest is working at the interface of psychological and spiritual growth as well as working with issues of identity and belonging.
I work integretatively with issues such as:
- Sexual identity
- Cultural identity
- Anger management
- Loss of creativity
- Loss of life direction
- Relationship difficulties
